Where is Movement located?
Our entrance is located in the courtyard on Lafayette Avenue. Parking is available in the adjacent lot, on both sides of Main Street, and along Lafayette.
Where can I park?
You can park in the lot right across from Movement and Street parking is available on both sides of Main Street.
Parking rules on Lafayette Avenue alternate weekly: Parking on the Movement side is allowed Monday 6 PM to Thursday 6 PM. Parking on the lot side is allowed Thursday 6 PM to Monday 6 PM
With restaurants nearby, parking can become tricky sometimes, so give yourself extra time. Late entry to class is not permitted.
What should I bring to class?
If you have your own mat, you’re welcome to use it, but we provide complimentary mats for those who don’t. A mat towel is required on borrowed mats—you can bring your own or rent one for $2. We also provide all necessary props, like blocks, resistance bands, and Pilates balls. Don’t forget to bring water and wear comfortable workout clothes.
Why do I need a mat towel for a borrowed mat?
Mat towels help protect our studio mats and keep them clean and slip-free for everyone. Using a towel on a borrowed mat also helps prevent the spread of sweat and keeps the class safe and comfortable for all participants. $2 rentals available or bring your own.
Do I have to wipe down my equipment at the end of class?
Yes! It’s a team effort. We ask that you wipe down all equipment using the towels and spray we provide. Help us keep the space clean and leave your props nice for the next person.
What amenities does the studio offer?
We provide:

Please note: we do not have showers (but we do have lavender cold towels!)
How hot are the classes?
Classes are heated with infrared panels and range from 85° to 105°F.
How long are the classes?
Classes are 50 minutes or 60 minutes. Check the schedule for specific class lengths and times.

Are classes suitable for all levels?
Yes! Our classes are open to everyone, from beginners to experienced movers.
Do you offer a Student Discount?
Yes, we do offer a student discount! Students receive 15% off all class prices. Just email us with your valid student ID before booking, and we’ll apply the discount to your account.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes. You must be 14 years or older to attend. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before their first class
When does the schedule open?
We use a rolling 7-day booking window — every day at class time, spots open for the same day next week.
Example: If you want to take class next Friday at 9 AM, booking for that spot opens this Friday at 9 AM.
Do you have an app to book classes?
Yes! To sign up and book classes, download the Momence app and create an account. Through the app, you can browse classes, reserve your spot, and manage your schedule all in one place.
How do I cancel a class?
Log into your account to cancel. Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before class to avoid penalties. We do not accept cancellations via email unless otherwise instructed.
What happens if I cancel late or don’t show up?
Unlimited members: $10 late cancel fee, $15 no-show fee
Class packs: You will lose the class credit
What’s your waitlist policy?
If you’re on the waitlist, it’s assumed you want to attend. You can be automatically added into class up to 60 minutes prior to start time. Once added, you’ll be subject to late cancel or no-show penalties.
If you can no longer attend, remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid charges.
Can I arrive late to class?
No. Late entry is not permitted. For safety and security reasons doors are locked at the start of class. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in and settle in. If you're not present when class begins, your spot may be given to someone on the waitlist.
Do you offer special events or private sessions?
Yes! For birthdays, bachelorette parties, or private sessions, please email the studio directly for details and bookings.

All classes must be prepaid. All sales are final — no refunds, transfers, or exchanges.
Movement is not responsible for any bank overdraft fees that may result from failed payments or billing attempts.
Movement is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please keep your belongings secure.
By attending class at Movement, you consent to having your image captured for promotional use in studio photos and videos. If you prefer not to be featured, please inform us before class.
