Where is Movement located?

Our entrances are located in the courtyard on Lafayette Avenue. The XFormer studio is on the left and the mat studio is on the right (separate, not connected).


Where can I park?

Parking is available in the lot directly across the street from Movement. There is street parking on both sides of Main Street and along Lafayette Avenue.

Lafayette Avenue parking alternates weekly:

  • Movement side: Monday 6 PM – Thursday 6 PM

  • Lot side: Thursday 6 PM – Monday 6 PM

With nearby restaurants, parking can be limited. Please allow extra time. Late entry to class is not permitted.


What should I bring to class?

MAT CLASSES (Infrared-Heated)
You’re welcome to bring your own mat or use one of ours complimentary. A mat towel is required on borrowed mats (bring your own towel or rent one for $2). Mat towels help protect our equipment and maintain a clean, slip-free surface for all clients.

XFORMER CLASSES
Grip socks are required for all XFormer classes (available for purchase in-studio). Grip socks ensure stability and safety. No bare feet allowed.

We provide all other equipment. Please bring water and wear comfortable workout attire.


Do I have to wipe down my equipment at the end of class?

Yes! It’s a team effort. We ask that you wipe down all equipment after use. Help us keep the space clean and nice for the next person. All equipment is also deep cleaned and disinfected weekly by our staff.

What amenities does the studio offer?

We provide:

  • Mats and all props (blocks, bands, Pilates balls, weights, etc.)

  • Face towels

  • Water refill station

  • Post class cold lavender towels

  • Mat towel rentals ($2)

  • Shower towel rental ($2)

  • One shower (mat studio only). Please limit use to 5 minutes. Wait times may occur.

How hot are the classes?

Mat classes are heated with infrared panels and range from 85°–105°F.
XFormer classes take place in a non-heated studio.

How long are the classes?

  • Mat classes: 40, 50, 60, or 75 minutes

  • XFormer classes: 45 minutes

Why infrared heat?

Infrared heat warms your body directly, not just the air, offering benefits such as:

  • Increased circulation

  • Reduced inflammation

  • Enhanced detox

  • Deep muscle activation

  • Aids recovery

Are classes suitable for all levels?

Yes. Our classes are designed to be accessible for beginners while still offering a challenge for more experienced clients.

For XFormer classes, we recommend starting with a Foundations class. If you’re new, you’ll receive a brief intro before class, so please arrive 10–15 minutes early.

How many classes can I take a day?

Clients are limited to a maximum of 2 classes per day, studio-wide.

Phone & Recording Policy

Phones should be silenced and stored away during class, including warm-up and cool down. If you need to use your phone, please step into the lobby.

Do you offer a Student Discount?

Yes. Students receive 15% off all class pricing. Please email us with a valid student ID prior to booking, and we’ll apply the discount to your account.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes. You must be 14 years or older to attend. Anyone under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver before their first class

When does the schedule open?

Members receive early booking access Sundays at 4 PM for the following week’s schedule.
General booking opens Sundays at 6 PM.

How do I book a class?

Download the Momence app to create an account, book classes, and manage your schedule.

How do I cancel a class?

Log into your account to cancel. Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before class to avoid penalties. We do not accept cancellations via phone or email.

What happens if I cancel late or don’t show up?

  • Unlimited members: $10 late cancel fee, $15 no-show fee

  • Class packs and limited use memberships: loss of class credit

What’s your waitlist policy?

If you’re on the waitlist, it is an agreement that you plan to attend. You can be automatically added into class up to 60 minutes prior to start time. Once added, you’ll be subject to late cancel or no-show penalties.
If you can no longer attend, remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid charges.

Can I arrive late to class?

No. Doors are locked at the start of class. Please arrive 10–15 minutes early. If you are not present at start time, your spot may be given to a waitlisted client.

For XFormer classes: A brief demo is provided before class. You must be checked in at least 10 minutes prior to start time. Late entry is not permitted and your spot may be released.

Do you offer special events or private sessions?

Yes! For birthdays, bachelorette parties, or private sessions, please email the studio directly for details and bookings.

  • Instructors and class formats are subject to change without notice. Please check the schedule regularly for the most up-to-date information.

  • All classes must be prepaid. All sales are final — no refunds, transfers, or exchanges.

  • Movement is not responsible for any bank overdraft fees that may result from failed payments or billing attempts.

  • Movement is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please keep your belongings secure.

  • By attending class at Movement, you consent to having your image captured for promotional use in studio photos and videos. If you prefer not to be featured, please inform us before class.
